What Is it That's American?
Introduction – Part I - By Robert O. NewellThe darkness of tyranny has all too frequently befallen man in this drama called life. Darkness is defined as the absence of light; and for much too long there has been an absence of light about the real nature of tyranny. History has shown that collectivism and amorality have been the favorite tools of tyrants from the earliest despots in the Tigris – Euphrates Valley to the latest Caesars of the Communist world. Amoral men, rejecting God’s laws, have in one civilization after another conspired to remake the world in their own image, dethroning God’s Order while enthroning themselves. Time after time men blind to spiritual light have sold their God-given birthright of liberty for the promise of “free bread and circuses”.
In each case the intellectual quackery of the day, parading forth varying concepts of Rationalism and Humanism, have labored to replace spiritual light with the ages old “worship of reason” or intellectualism. This man-made light blossomed outwardly during Robespierre’s “Reign of Terror” in the French Revolution. There the terrorists, carrying the red flags of revolution, erected a statue to the Goddess of Reason. This worship of man was further magnified by Blanqui during the Paris communes of 1871 and gained a springboard named “Scientific Socialism” from Lennin’s Bolsevik Revolution in 1917.
